Ursula Palla

Since the end of August 2022, Basel's Gothic Predigerkirche has a new, central work of art from the 21st century. In a competition, the Christkatholische Kirche Basel-Stadt selected the work WOLKE by artist Ursula Palla. It consists of about three hundred mouth-blown glass objects. With contemporary art, the choir of the more than 700-year-old church is redesigned and thus updated for the thinking, feeling and aesthetic sensibilities of the 21st century.
